Hearing 

Through teamwork, our speech-language pathologists and consulting audiologist help to monitor and manage your hearing and hearing health needs.

We provide support for:

  • Auditory rehabilitation/aural habilitation for adolescents and adults with cochlear implants

  • Monitoring your ability to hear and perceive the sounds around you (functional access to sound)

  • Listening skills for communication

  • Recognising your lived experience of hearing loss

Speech & Language 

Early intervention is key to positive outcomes. Our speech and language pathologists have extensive experience working with children.

We provide support for children (0-12 years) including:

  • Formal and informal assessments for speech, language, literacy - to establish current skills and highlight areas of need

  • Collaborative goal setting with your child, your family and educators to ensure intervention is goal driven and agreed

  • Speech therapy for listening, speech, language, literacy and social skills

  • Speech pathology progress reports to document current skills and areas that require continued support

Communication

We recognise the complexity and effort involved in communication with a hearing loss.

  • Building your confidence in speaking with others

Mentoring

We offer clinical supervision and mentoring for speech pathologists who want to build their confidence and grow their skills—particularly in the field of supporting individuals with hearing loss who are developing listening and spoken language skills.
